The PC is set to 192.168.2.201, and the extender to 192.168.2.202, and still I get the IP address error message. I'm unsure how to perform further diagnostics on this, since at least from the looks of things, there is no IP address conflict, even tho the error message says that there is.

When I set up the range extender, the FIOS router would not assign it an IP as usual, so I had to give it one. I am sure that there are no duplicate IPs being manually assigned. I should point out also that the failure of the router to assign an IP happens both when connecting wired and wirelessly.
