Ping 192.168.56.101 from the host is OK though. I try to gain some hints by capturing packets on the VirualBox-Host-Only-Network adapter with wireshark. And I see some ICMP packets sent from 192.168.56.101 to 192.168.56.1 which tell me "Destination unreachable (Host administratively prohibited)".

Code 12 - Host unreachable for TOS - If your packet was unable to reach a host because of the TOS of the packet, this is the message you get back. Code 13 - Communication administratively prohibited by filtering - If the packet was prohibited by some kind of filtering (e.g., firewalling), we get a code 13 back.

The original codes were defined in RFC 777 ICMP but more were defined in RFC 1812 Host Requirements, including reason 13 "Administratively Prohibited". If you get any variety of ICMP destination unreachable, it means the far router is telling you it didn't forward the packet, and the code inside is just intended to help you understand why.
